"A Doctor Who Never Gave Up – Our Lifeline in the Darkest Time My mother, aged 48, was diagnosed with Stage-3 cervical cancer in March 2023. Those words changed our lives forever. After consulting multiple hospitals including Apollo Inderprasth and Max Super speciality (formally Jaypee Hospital) Sector-128, we finally came under the care of Dr. Abhishek Gulia (Radiation Oncologist) at Max Hospital, Sector-128, Noida. From the very first consultation, we felt a rare sense of confidence and trust. Dr. Gulia has an exceptional ability to explain complex treatments in a simple, reassuring manner. His approach was not just medical but deeply patient-centric and compassionate. In November 2024, our nightmare returned when the cancer relapsed near the kidney. Once again, Dr. Gulia planned aggressive treatment with 28 radiation sessions and 5 chemotherapy cycles. While the disease was controlled to some extent, a few lymph nodes remained active. At this stage, we were emotionally exhausted and completely hopeless. Today, by God’s grace and the relentless efforts of these doctors, the PET-CT scans in August 2025 and October 2025 show complete response with no active lymph nodes.
